Representatives of the Kotka city administration Cursor Oy company at Passenger port of St. Petersburg

On September 27th within the framework of cooperation between “PP SPb MF” PLC and Hamina-Kotka region, representatives of the city administration in the person of Raino Hassinen, as well as representatives of Cursor Oy in the person of Petra Cranston and Victoria Shishkova and SC Alekseev`s Hydrofoil design bureau paid an official visit to the Passenger Port of St. Petersburg.
 
 
 
The official meeting was devoted to a number of topical issues on the regular water communication development between the cities of Kotka and St. Petersburg in the framework of the cooperation agreement between “PP SPb MF” PLC, Port Hamina-Kotka and the company Cursor Oy, as well as the necessary conditions for the international high-speed water passenger traffic establishment through the Kotka Kantasatama terminal.
 
The sides also discussed issues on ensuring a high level of environmental safety of navigation in the Baltic Sea and other issues in development of cooperation agreement.
 
The agreement on cooperation between “PP SPb MF” PLC, Port Hamina-Kotka and Cursor Oy was singed on December 9th, 2015 in Kotka, Finland, within the framework of the major infrastructure projects implementation of European Neighbourhood Instrument Cross Border Cooperation South-East Finland – Russia CBC 2014-2020.
 
At the end of the meeting parties discussed the terms and prospects for the projects implementation, outlined the nearest joint initiatives and also agreed on a joint participation in events aimed at developing the tourist potential of the Hamina-Kotka region and St. Petersburg.
