Between 5-12 of June Passenger port of Saint Petersburg has received 12 cruise ships which brought 27 726 passengers. The total berth time of the ships is 21 ship-days, total amount of passenger operations – 96 323.
Services provided to ships:
• Fresh water bunkering – 4 068 m3
• Garbage collection – 220 m3
• Waste-waters reception – 3 368 m3
In the indicated period 7 helicopters have used the helipad of Passenger port of Saint Petersburg for landing and take-off.
On June, 8th on the board of the St. Peter Line ship - Princess Maria a meeting on cooperation agreement was held between the Administration of Kotka, "PP of SPb MF" PLC, Port of Hamina-Kotka and Cursor Oy.The parties discussed the status of “mirroring” projects in St. Petersburg and Kotka, the establishment of a regular ferry connection between cities and the prospects for visa-free travelling by sea transport to Finland for citizens of the Russian Federation.
On June 10th in St. Petersburg the “PP of SPb MF” PLC representatives invited by the Committee on Development of Tourism of St. Petersburg participated at the meeting with the head of the China National Tourism Administration Mr. Li Tszintszao. The parties discussed the development of relationships and highlighted the growth of quantity of tourists coming to St. Petersburg from China.
On June 12th the Italian opera singer Cecilia Bartoli disembarked in the Passenger Port of St. Petersburg for the performance at the Mariinsky theatre stage during the Music Festival Stars of the White Night
