“PP of SPb MF” PLC at the Seatrade Cruise Med

Seatrade Cruise Med, the major international biennial event in the cruise industry, was held between September 21st and 23rd in Tenerife, Spain. "Passenger Port of St. Petersburg "Marine Facade" PLC traditionally took part in the event together with the main representatives of marine tourism industry in St. Petersburg.

During the exhibition, there was a range of business meetings with the leaders of the largest cruise lines, who confirmed the interest in bringing cruise vessels in the region of the Baltic Sea with the transit stops at Passenger port of Saint Petersburg. Also, within the framework of the exhibition the thematic interactive session took place, which was devoted to Passenger port of Saint Petersburg opportunities in functioning as the point of the beginning and ending of cruises and the prospects of organasing such routes. 

The Chairman of St. Petersburg Committee on Development of Tourism A. Mushkarev, the General Director of "Passenger Port of St. Petersburg "Marine Facade" PLC V. Kashirin and the Commercial Director A. Panfilov took part in the presentation and appealed to the cruise lines’ representatives with proposals for arranging cruises from St. Petersburg and also informed the participants about the recent initiatives in this respect. Besides, during in the event a conference with UBM company’s representatives was held on the perspectives of organisation one of the Seatrade Group exhibition in St. Petersburg in the coming years.

“Passenger Port of St. Petersburg “Marine Façade” PLC in conjunction with the main marine tourism industry companies will represent St. Petersburg during the leading specialised cruise exhibition Seatrade Global in March, 2017 in the USA.
