Passenger Port of St. Petersburg hosted the Sport Business Forum “Sport Leaders Global Forum”

From November 17 to 19, the first practical sports business forum Sport Leaders Global Forum was held in Passenger Port of St. Petersburg, where the leaders of sports, the first persons of clubs, leagues and sports federations from 15 countries gathered, including representatives of the Russian Olympic Committee, FIFA , The Organizing Committee of the World Cup-2018, the Premier League, the KHL, combat sports, cyber-sports and individual-business competitions for discussion of cases, the formation of market trends, the development of real and effective interaction strategies, networking and monetization.

General Director of “Passenger Port of Saint Petersburg "Marine Façade” PLC Vadim Kashiri said that the Marine Facade was pleased to host such a large event as the Sport Leaders Global Forum. Passenger port St. Petersburg annually invests in sports initiatives, seeks to attract residents of St. Petersburg to host sports events on the territory of the Port, so the topic of the forum was especially relevant.
 
Mr. Kashirin also stressed that for the Port this was an opportunity not only to ensure the implementation of a breakthrough and ambitious project, but also to demonstrate the readiness of the "Marine Facade" to host major congress events.
 
"We hope that the participants and organizers were satisfied with the level of the event and we will get an opportunity to hold it on an annual basis," commented Vadim Kashirin.

“Passenger Port of Saint Petersburg "Marine Façade” PLC, in addition to its core activities, is actively engaged in the implementation of numerous educational, social and sports projects. In 2017 the territory of the Port for the sixth time became a platform for the organization of the traditional sports festival "Marine Mile", within the framework of which the yacht regatta, rowing festival on the river "Smolenka" and many other sports disciplines were held.
