"Passenger Port of St. Petersburg "Marine Facade" PLC at Seatrade Europe 2015.

“Passenger Port of Saint Petersburg “Marine Façade” PLC together with representatives of leading transport organizations, major tour operators of our city and St. Petersburg City Tourism and Information Bureau participated in Setrade Europe - the largest European cruise exhibition, which took place in Hamburg, Germany on September 9-11, 2015. The exhibition is traditionally held in early autumn in Hamburg every two years and serves as a platform for dialogue between cruise lines, representatives of ports and destinations, and shipbuilding companies.

A range of meetings was held with representatives of some of the largest cruise lines, such as Carnival Corporation and plc, MSC Cruises and TUI Cruises, as well as with international tour operators and representatives of the main Baltic Sea ports.

During the negotiations the parties discussed the extension of cruise season in the region, plans of the cruise lines for the next years and during the 2018 Football World Cup, as well as plans for upgrading the dolphins at Passenger port of Saint Petersburg, which will allow to receive two 330 meter ships at once at the berths 6 and 7. Cruise lines have noted the high quality of services provided at Passsenger port and confirmed their intentions to deploy larger vessels in the Baltic Sea region. We can therefore hope for further increase in the amount of cruise tourists arriving to St. Petersburg.

Also during the exhibition representatives of "Passenger Port of Saint Petersburg "Marine Façade" PLC have visited the new cruise terminal at the port of Hamburg, where the parties had an opportunity to share experience regarding passenger operations and new technologies.

In March 2016 "Passenger Port of Saint Petersburg "Marine Façade" PLC will participate in the largest world cruise exhibition Seatrade Global in Fort Lauderdale, US.
