Delegation from the Kingdom of Bahrain has visited Passenger port of Saint Petersburg

On the 12^th of October Passenger port of Saint Petersburg was visited by representatives of the Capital Governorate of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Capital Governorate Secretariat, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and representatives of the largest companies of the country. The visit was part of the official tour of St. Petersburg’s investment projects organized for the delegation. During the visit to the Port the city of St. Petersburg was presented as the most attractive cruise destination of the Baltic Sea. The guests have also learned about the project of creation and complex development of land in the western part of Vasilyevsky Island. The project is implemented since 2006 and included construction of Passenger port of Saint Petersburg. At the end of the visit the Capital Governor of the Kingdom of Bahrain Sheikh Hisham has left a note about his visit to the Port in the Book of Honorable Guests.

The event continued with the visit to the “Lenexpo” congress center, where a Business Forum was led by Sergey Movchan – the vice-governor of St. Petersburg. Among the forum participants were representatives of industrial, agricultural and transport sectors of St. Petersburg and Russia, as well as entrepreneurs from the field of innovative technologies. A representative of “Passenger Port of Saint Petersburg “Marine Façade” PLC made a presentation about the activities of the Port, informing the participants about its construction and plans for further development.
