Passenger Port of St. Petersburg Marine Facade again takes the maximum number of ships

Today, 7th August, at the quays of the Passenger Port of St. Petersburg again seven ships.

Celebrity Constellation («Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity Cruises»), Saga Sapphire («Saga Shipping»), MSC Orchestra («MSC Crociere SA»), Costa Pacifica («Carnival Corporation»), Costa NeoRomantica («Carnival Corporation»), Empress («Pullmantur Cruises, SL»), Seven Seas Voyager («Prestige Cruise Holdings Inc.») entered the port as part of cruises in the Baltic Sea. The total length of arrived ships is 1715 meters. All 13,604 passengers getting off at the waterfront today, will be able to enjoy not only the beauty of St. Petersburg but also unusually hot August days.

Incidentally, on the same day, exactly 211 years ago, from Kronstadt began the first Russian voyage around the globe. Two ships "Nadezhda" and "Neva" sailed off under the command of I.F. Krusenstern and Y.F. Lisiansky, respectively. The expedition lasted three years and has become an essential step in the development of the Russian Navy and science.
