5-6.11.2014 took place regular meeting of representatives of the Baltic ports

On 5-6 November, 2014 in Tallinn took place regular meeting of representatives of the ports of the Baltic Sea: Copenhagen, Helsinki, Kiel, Riga, Rostock, Saint-Petersburg, Stockholm and Tallinn.

Participants discussed the prospects of the development of the cruise market in the Baltic Sea region, including the possibility of extending the cruise season in the Baltic Sea and promotion of concept of winter cruises. Moreover, parties discussed the issue of improving the infrastructure of the Baltic ports necessary for the reception of ships and providing the additional services.

Following the meeting, it was agreed to continue cooperation for the promotion of the Baltic Sea region, providing passenger growth in the region and enhance the attractiveness of the cruise and ferry tourism in general.

It is planned that the next joint meeting of representatives of the ports of the Baltic Sea will be held in Rostock in November 2015.
